My work in Political Advertising is – Top of the Ticket – level. It didn’t start out that way, but after doing a cycle of statewide races, I was called to do ads for a  Senator from Illinois who was running against Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination for President. Winning that primary brought more work in the general election for Barack Obama and from there, more and more work for Democrats. Political Action Committees followed with a heavy emphasis on Environmental issues, chiefly for the NRDC .

Having read commercials  for many different Automotive brands, Cracker Barrel Restaurants and movie trailers like ELF, I have the range and the gravitas to perform great political ads. It’s actually the most meaningful work I do!

Personally, I consider myself an Independent thinker and voter and my voting record reflected that independence until I got into Political Advertising. It was Democrat’s policy positions and Barack Obama’s campaign of positive messaging that won me over, much to the dismay of my conservative friends and family. Not to mention, Democrats respect organized labor. I have been a working member of the Screen Actors Guild since the 80’s. Republican’s low caliber advertising can be attributed to the talent they employ, and the candidates they proffer.

I’ve been called the “voice of reason” for lending a tone that lends credibility and authority to political advertisements of all kinds. Independent voters, the folks political advertising intends to motivate, are very relatable to me and inform my choices as a voice actor.

  I give political voiceover a warm storyteller’s  delivery for candidate biography ads. Sometimes I bring an edgy read to response and attack ads and credibility to political action committees. My range of performance makes me a good addition to any political campaigns media presence.
